Destrehan Plantation Mule Barn Weddings
Destrehan Plantation's Mule Barn has become a very popular wedding venue. The barn was recently featured on an episode of TLC The Learning Channel's Four Weddings. Our bride took home the grand prize, and won for Best Venue and Best Overall Experience.
Destrehan Plantation is the perfect setting for weddings and receptions. We offer you a choice of an outdoor wedding near one of our Oaks trees on the Plantation’s grounds, under our covered carriage way or indoors in our Mule Barn.
Wedding receptions take place in our Mule Barn where we can accommodate groups up to 250 people. We provide tables, chairs, white table coverings and table decorations.
Capdeboscq Catering is our house caterer and caters all weddings at Destrehan Plantation.
We are completely booked for 2013, but have some available dates in 2014. We also have started booking weddings for 2015.
If you would like to schedule a site visit, please call our business office Monday-Friday at 985-764-9315 to schedule. Site visits MUST be scheduled in advance.
